Description
This is a brake pad shim with a stainless steel sheet coated with a special ceramic coating on both sides. Developed to protect the brake caliper from heat damage caused by the brake pad. Although this ceramic coating is extremely thin, it has excellent heat insulation properties and has been tested to reduce the temperature by more than 10%.
May be used with aftermarket brake pads, but if the shape and thickness of the pads are significantly different from OEM, it may not be possible to install them.
