GT86 and BRZ suffer with a cam plate oil leak because the original plate is pressed steel and is only sealed with rtv sealant. The resulting leak drips oil on to the exhaust causing smoke wisps and a burning oil smell!
Fensport Tip: Although our cam plate has a viton seal we still advise a smear of rtv sealant to provide a lifetime seal.
