Not only is the Fensport oversize alternator pulley much lighter than stock, it is also 10mm larger diameter which reduces alternator speed to free more power to the wheels.
Reducing the alternator speed is completely safe, there is no decrease in alternator voltage output on a healthy charging system.
Note: Our oversize drive belt must be used to complete the installation.
