Oil catch cans are vital preventative additions to ensure the performance and efficiency of Direct Injection engines doesn’t deteriorate over time due to unwanted blow-by gases and vapours, which can enter the engine from a CCV port or PCV valve. The Honda Civic Type R FL5 features both of these, so Airtec Motorsport developed kits to cater for each and recommend fitting both for ultimate protection.
